Crane Hollow Nature Preserve is a dedicated state nature preserve in Hocking County, Ohio. The Preserve is owned and managed by Crane Hollow, Inc., a private, nonprofit corporation. The mission of Crane Hollow is to foster "preservation, understanding, and appreciation of the plants, animals, and ecology of the hollow and surrounding area."
Much of the land at Crane Hollow has been dedicated as a state nature preserve by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Natural Areas and Preserves. For more information on State Nature Preserves, click here.
Crane Hollow has restricted access in order to protect the ecological health of the hollow. However, the Preserve sponsors periodic events and field trips that are open to the public.
